CELS offers CELPIP Training and English as a second langage (ESL) training to individuals and groups: 
    - one-on-one training with information tailored speficially to the needs of the individual student;
    - classes in which social collaboration supports growth and developoment; and
    - small group lessons ideal for training several employees or friends who wish to study together.

About CELS:

Greg Skrypiczajko earned a B. Ed. in Teaching English as a Second Language and a M. Sc. in Psycholinguistics and the bilingual mental lexicon.

 

Greg founded Canadian English Language Services in 1994 while working on his graduate thesis. Needless to say, Greg has always worn many hats. In addition to working as a teacher and editor for other institutions and organizations, Greg has also offered top-notch English language services to newcomers, students, and local business owners.

Over the past 30+ years, Greg has worked with several local universities and colleges, including University of Alberta's Faculty of Extension, Concordia University of Edmonton, Norquest College, Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, ASSIST Community Services, Yellowhead Tribal College, as well as many Alberta businesses.

Greg has also taught English language courses and researched with teams in cognitive science, linguistics, and psycholinguistics departments at University of Alberta, Korea University, and Seoul National University. He also provided teacher training at Seoul National University of Education when English was introduced as a national language in South Korea. Greg has co-published several scientific papers on bilingual language processing and second language acquisition.
