Greg Skrypiczajko earned a B. Ed. in Teaching English as a Second Language and a M. Sc. in Psycholinguistics and the bilingual mental lexicon.

Greg founded Canadian English Language Services in 1994 while working on his graduate thesis. Needless to say, Greg has always worn many hats.
In addition to working as a teacher and editor for several other institutions and organizations, Greg has also offered top-notch English language services to newcomers, local business owners, and government.

Over the past 25 years, Greg has worked with several local universities and colleges, including University of Alberta's Faculty of Extension, Concordia University of Edmonton, Norquest College, Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, and Yellowhead Tribal College.

Greg has also taught English language courses and researched with teams in cognitive science, linguistics, and psycholinguistics departments at University of Alberta, Korea University, and Seoul National University. He also provided teacher training at Seoul National University of Education when English became a national language in South Korea. Greg has co-published several scientific papers on bilingual language processing and second language acquisition.

More than anything, Greg loves his family-time. Playing and working with his son, camping, and skiing are activities which bring the family together for thrill and adventure.

Testimonials

"Greg did a great job writing up the program statement for the Kaskitayo Youth Park. His editing skill has helped us with our funding proposals."
